About Picture Recall
This tool is a cognitive stimulation exercise built on the Picture Recall worksheet pack: 15 line-drawn everyday scenes, 10 basic and 5 complex, each with the details a person can be expected to recall. The screen keeps the paper task honest. The study window is timed from the moment the picture loads, the picture really disappears, and an optional delay, with sums to solve, stops it being rehearsed. In checklist mode a partner ticks each detail as it is recalled and counts anything that was not there. In yes-or-no mode the tool asks about details and lures in turn, so someone can practise alone and see hits, misses, and false alarms.
It’s built for occupational therapists, caregivers, and anyone practicing visual memory and attention to detail, and it runs in any browser with no setup. Responses are taps on large buttons at the person’s own pace. Picture Recall is a practice and cognitive stimulation tool, not a standardized assessment, and no patient information is collected or stored.
