About Spot the Difference
Spot the Difference brings the Spot the Difference pack from the worksheet library onto the screen: the same 30 painted scenes, graded easy, medium and hard, from a morning kitchen and a garden bench up to a cluttered potting shed and a country general store. Two pictures of the scene sit side by side and a handful of things have changed in the second one. The job is to find them all. It works visual scanning, sustained attention, working memory, and the ability to compare and discriminate, in one calm activity that can be done alone or shared.
On screen a tap either finds a difference, which circles it on both pictures, or counts as a false positive, so the result is found of total, false positives, and time, per scene. Hints can be turned on after a set pause, and the pictures can be shown one at a time for people who find comparing across the screen hard. Three scenes are free; the full set is part of Pro, alongside the printable pack itself.
It is built for occupational therapists, caregivers, and anyone practicing visual attention, and it runs in any browser with no setup. Spot the Difference is a practice and cognitive stimulation tool, not a standardized assessment, and no patient information is collected or stored.
