About the book

Communication Boards for Adults is a large-print paperback with 112 boards. It is for adults with aphasia, dysarthria or other acquired communication difficulties. The person points to a picture or a word. You read it out loud.

The boards sit in five sections: Essentials, Hospital and care, Daily living, Conversation and Make it yours. Yes and No are on every page. The last section has pages for your own photos and words. The book was written by a rehabilitation clinician.

It is designed to support everyday communication between a person and their helpers. It is not a medical device and not a substitute for assessment or treatment.

Practice material, not medical advice. Nothing is collected when you download.
