About Story Recall
Story Recall is a cognitive stimulation exercise for verbal memory: read a short everyday story, then answer questions about its details from memory. Multiple-choice rounds are scored automatically and work well on your own; free-recall rounds show each question in turn, let you answer aloud, and then reveal the model answer so you can mark yourself, which asks more of memory than recognizing the right option does. Because the screen controls when the story hides, it can do what a printed page can’t — set a reading time, or hold a quiet delay between reading and remembering. The story can be read aloud on screen, or an administrator can read it to the person.
It’s built for occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, caregivers, and anyone practicing memory and language, and it runs in any browser with no setup — open it and go. Every round draws a fresh story, and the PDF export prints story sheets with questions for tabletop practice.
