Who it suits
A person who spells slowly, by pointing or with a helper pointing along the rows, so the common letters should come first.
For the helper: put on their glasses and hearing aids, say the board title out loud, wait while the person points, say the word out loud, and confirm with Yes or No.
Common questions
Why are the letters in this order?
It is the order English uses them, E T A O I N S H R D L U first, so the letters that come up most sit nearest the top left and are reached first when the helper points along the rows.
How do I use it with a helper pointing?
The helper points along each row and asks "this row?", then along the chosen row asking "this one?", and the person gives the agreed Yes signal, a blink, a nod or a thumb. "None of these" ends every pass.
