Common questions
What is an E-Tran board?
A letter board for eye gaze. The letters sit in groups around an open centre, and the person looks at a group while the partner watches their eyes through the gap. Each group has its own colour so the partner can name it.
What is the mirrored page for?
The partner faces the person, so the board looks reversed from their side. The second page is the same board flipped, for the partner to read. It is a Pro print option; a free account can print it once a day.
What do I cut out?
The empty centre square. Cut it out, hold the board up between you, and look through the hole at the person's eyes.
From the book
This board follows the look of Communication Boards for Adults, a large-print paperback of 112 boards with Yes and No on every page. Four of its boards are free to download here, and the whole book is on the store.
Boards made here are designed to support everyday communication between a person and their helpers.
