Who it suits
Someone who is very unwell, tired or breathing with a tube, and can manage a few large choices.
For the helper: put on their glasses and hearing aids, say the board title out loud, wait while the person points, say the word out loud, and confirm with Yes or No.
Common questions
Why only four squares?
Four large squares are easier to see and point to when a person is very unwell, tired or has a breathing tube. Pain, bathroom, water and nurse cover the first things most people need to say.
Can I make the squares even bigger?
Yes. In the board maker, turn off the Yes and No strip or change the grid to two squares, and the pictures grow to fill the page. Large print is free too.
