Memory tools
Holding a phone number long enough to dial it, remembering what was on the list, retelling what the nurse said: memory is where most families first notice a change, and it is the skill people most want to practice.
These tools cover its main forms. Pattern Recall and Design Recall are visual and spatial. Story Recall is verbal, with a delay. Listen & Recall and Digit Span are working memory with spoken strings. Picture Recall and Memory Match use pictures, which suit people who read with difficulty.

- Immediate recall first, then add a delay or a distraction once rounds finish comfortably.
- Memory Match and Picture Recall work well played together at a table, with a partner scoring or simply taking turns.
- Large print and a slower pace are free on every tool; change one dial at a time between rounds.
Practice and cognitive stimulation tools, not assessments or treatment. Nothing about the people who practice is stored.
